French Classes Glasgow

Live Language offers French courses in Glasgow for you to learn or improve your language skills. Our French classes are designed to provide you with the skills and language knowledge you need to be able to use French in a variety of situations.
For course info and prices see tabs above.
If you are learning French for travelling, working, living in a French speaking country or just because you love the culture, these lessons will help you develop the knowledge to use French in context and communicate with native speakers as well as other speakers of French as a foreign language.
Our classes are small to ensure that you get the highest level of attention from your teachers. The classes are taught in a communicative way and combine grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation with speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
You can read the learning outcomes for each level here.
Our experienced teachers are French native speakers and use a communicative methodology, which gives you the maximum amount of time to practise French in a friendly environment. Please note that even though we aim to have communicative French classes, our teachers are also fluent in English, so if you have any questions or doubts, our French teachers can always explain it in English.
Don't worry if you miss a class or two. You can book 30 min Catch up private lessons with your teacher for only £15. Maximum 4X 30 min lessons can be booked per term per student. Lesson has to be paid at least 24hours in advance and no cancellation is possible with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Our school wants to ensure you are in a personalised class and have enough time to practise your language skills in it. The minimum number of students for a foreign language class is 5 and the maximum number is 14. Please note the school requires sufficient student numbers to start a class. If your class does not have the minimum number of students, you will be contacted to offer the following options for you to continue learning, however, some classes may be subject to cancellation.
  • 5 students: full 24 hours (12 weeks X 2 hours)
  • 4 students: 20 hours (10 weeks X 2 hours)
  • 2-3 students: A semi-private option will be offered
If you have a more specific goal, a different schedule for your course or would like to learn French more intensively, you can join our private and semi-private classes. You can find more information about Private and Semi-Private classes here. Please note that private lessons are flexible; however, the organisation of the lessons will depend on the teacher’s availability at the time of the enquiry. If you are not sure of your level, you can try to go through our Level test
Please contact Fernanda (fernanda.mclintock@live-language.com) if you have any questions.

Have you missed the deadline to book your course? Don’t worry, if the class is not cancelled, you can join until the 5th October (9th for the Monday classes). Please contact Fernanda (fernanda.mclintock@live-language.com) for more information.
