OET Exam Preparation Course

OET Exam Preparation Course
The Occupational English Test (OET) is an internationally recognised English language exam accepted by the Nurses and Midwifery Council (NMC) and General Medical Council (GMC) as proof of English level. If you are a doctor or a nurse, you may need an English exam to be able to register with these councils. The English language requirements of the NMC are available here and GMC are here. You can take the OET test at Live Language but must register at the OET website https://www.occupationalenglishtest.org/apply-oet/. We also offer preparation courses for the exam. The course is 30 hours in total and is available in intensive or part-time options throughout the year. During the course, you will learn about the different sub-tests (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) and practise techniques and strategies to improve your performance in each. The course spends a significant amount of time on the writing section of the exam. In our experience, this is the area that candidates need the most feedback and practise on. Detailed course information is available here.
