Jane is from Aberdeen, a city in the north east of Scotland, known as the Granite City. Jane graduated from Stirling University in 2012 with a degree in French and Spanish. As part of her degree, Jane went to University in Cordoba, Spain where she took every opportunity to travel, try new food and experience the Spanish culture . After 5 months in Spain, Jane went to Nice, France for a month to study an intensive French course at a language school.
After graduating, Jane moved to Zaragoza, Spain to teach English in a secondary school for a year. During her time in Spain, Jane lived with four Spanish girls.
When Jane returned to Aberdeen, she completed her CELTA at Glasgow University and started work at Live language in the summer of 2014.
As well as her interest in languages and travelling, Jane has played the cello since the age of seven, reaching grade 7.
