Occupational English Test (OET)
The Occupational English Test (OET) is an English language test designed specifically for the healthcare sector and you can prepare and take the test with Live Language. The test is accepted worldwide by a wide range of healthcare organisations in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Namibia and Singapore. Recently, it was announced that you can also use the OET as evidence of English for Tier 2 visas. This means you can use one exam for registration and visa purposes.
We have been accredited by OET as a Premium Course Provider – we are one of only 32 accredited providers worldwide (as at February 2020). We have combined our expertise and the skills learnt throughout the Premium Provider Course to develop online courses to help you reach your goals.

OET differs from the IELTS because it uses real healthcare scenarios and assesses your ability to use English as a healthcare professional i.e. it is a test of your occupational English. The IELTS exam focuses on testing the level of your Academic English.
