Paula Veiga – Portuguese Language Teacher

Paula is a native speaker of Portuguese. Born in hot and sunny Brazil, she taught English as a second language for over 10 years in São Paulo. She has a Master’s Degree in Translation and also works as a volunteer English teacher.

After moving to Glasgow in early 2019, she learned how to survive a gale, constant rain and cold days, always wearing as many layers as possible. She enjoys good music, good food, good coffee, and hugs. Her favourite word in Portuguese is “saudade”.
